Cultural Tradition

Cultural traits affect one's behavior and attitude a lot. This factor also includes decisions that we make. We live, getting influenced by our culture every minute. Since I have said that cultural traditions affect our attitude, it obviously does not only affect our decisions but a whole lot more beyond it.

In "Namesake", Mr.Wilcox had trouble understanding the culture of Ashoke and Ashima, because they come from different cultures. In Mr.Wilcox's culture, sharing names are a very respectful thing to do, but in Bengali culture it is not. To say it clearly, people will naturally have questions about other cultures because they have never been in that culture before.

Another example would be something personal. I went through a lot of cultural differences since I was young. I have been living in China when I was 3, so most of my culture is a mix of Korean and Chinese culture because of the environment that I was raise.
