My Presentation

At the end of the second quarter I was did a presentation about about eating disorders, specifically focusing on anorexia and bulimia and there effects, treatments, causes, symptoms etc. This was a very interesting project for me because in the past I have done many projects on beauty standards and how they cause eating disorders in the US, but this project helped me understand people with eating disorders and what they are going through. This project includes a lot of statistics and pictures. One of the most interesting things that I learned is how it connects to other disorders such as depression. Because I am not experienced anything to do with eating disorders I added a video of someone who had since they were a child. It is very heartbreaking listening to someone who went through this and adding the video really helps eating disorders be seen as more serious problems that need to be more acknowledged.
